1. To organize B.F.Sc. Graduates of West Bengal to maintain and foster a spirit of goodwill amongst them and to render an effective service for the social, cultural and economic advancement of the state as well as nation.

2. To improve the professional knowledge of its members and to uphold the dignity and honour of the profession and to safeguard its rights and interest.

3. To help the advancement of fishery science in all its aspects and to enable the fisheries graduates to function efficiently for sustainable utilization of the fisheries resources as well as further all round development of the socio economic backward fishermen/fish farmers.

4. To promote better relationship amongst other technical professional streams in addition to the fraternity amongst the members of the same profession in the state and elsewhere.
